Sacrifice Bank
Espace Beaumont, Luxembourg
2011

The title of this project was inspired by the confrontation between religion and the notion of capitalism as Max Weber developped in his essay in the 19th century. The issue of this work was to question the image and the reproduction of the image, using the nostalgic form of banknotes as the red line, represented with a pencil on paper, which includes the parrallel metapher of clones in order to make a comparison between the human condition and the consumerist digital era.
